| Tia Leaf |
Tia Leaf is a 2014 graduate with a
degree in Business Management and a minor in Marketing. Tia chose UMC online because
of the cost, reputation, and degree options. Throughout her time here she had
good interactions with the Faculty and Staff. Her favorite class was human
resources management as it was interesting to her and a potential career
avenue. As an alum Tia said that if she could tell prospective students
one thing it would be “how convenient it is if you are not able to physically
go to campus.” After receiving her degree Tia was promoted and currently works
as a Senior Service Representative. Getting her degree did not come without
hardship though as she had to overcome limitations due to a chronic illness. In
the end she graduated with a 3.5 GPA and found a career that supported and
encouraged her to succeed. The University of Minnesota Crookston is extremely
proud to have Tia as an alumni. Her story is one that we love to share as her
accomplishments show off the type of astounding students we have here.
